Dr. Elliot Cartee is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Mathematics and a Math Learning Center (MLC) Fellow at Texas A&M University, a role he has held since Fall 2024. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2014 and a Ph.D. in 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he served as an L.E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago.

As the MLC liaison, Dr. Cartee supports the Hands-On Grades Up (HOGU) initiative for engineering majors by leading HOGU sessions, demonstrating his dedication to helping students master complex mathematical concepts. While at Texas A&M, Dr. Cartee has taught multiple sections of Differential Equations and has positively impacted his students by fostering critical thinking and problem-solving. He continues to seek out innovative teaching methods through collaboration with other MLC staff. His commitment to student success and innovative teaching make him an invaluable asset to both the MLC and the Aggie community.
