Tutoring by Appointment
- You can sign-up for a small group (1-2 students) 30 min tutoring session per week with one of the math whizzes in the Math Learning Center through Navigate.
- As with any service at the MLC, this opportunity is offered to TAMU students at no extra-cost!
- You must be enrolled in the designated course to schedule an appointment.

Hands on, Grades Up
Brief description
This is a program continued during the Spring 2024 semester. Hands On, Grades Up sessions consist of active-learning structured activities dedicated to selected courses. Just as in athletic programs, the basic premise here is that to achieve success you need to learn by practicing exercises, discussing problems and unraveling the precise meaning of concepts and how they relate to the problems being solved and to applications.- Each session has the duration of 120mins.
- Registration is not required at this point.
- Problem sets for Hands on, Grades up will not published to the site, with the exception of Exam Reviews.
- Students are expected to actively participate while working out the problem sets at an organized pace.
