- You can sign-up for a small group (1-2 students) 30 min tutoring session per week with one of the math whizzes in the Math Learning Center through Navigate.
- As with any service at the MLC, this opportunity is offered to TAMU students at no extra-cost!

Hands-on, Grades Up
Spring 2025
Brief description
Hands-on, Grades Up sessions consist of active-learning structured activities dedicated to selected courses. Just as in athletic programs, the basic premise here is that to achieve success you need to learn by practicing exercises, discussing problems and unraveling the precise meaning of concepts and how they relate to the problems being solved and to applications.- You must register using the links below to attend a session. Registration opens approximately a week before the session. If the registration is full, you can join the waitlist. If you registered for a session but cannot attend, please use the link to cancel and make room for other students.
- You must bring bring your student ID to the session to check in.
- Weekly sessions on Thursdays are 120 minutes.
- There will be special 90 minute exam review sessions on the Sundays before exam weeks. There are two exam review sessions with identical material. You can attend either one but are not allowed to attend both.
- Problem sets for Hands-on, Grades Up will not be published to the site, with the exception of Exam Reviews.
- Students are expected to actively participate while working out the problem sets at an organized pace.
